East Grinstead pub has reopened after major refurbishment
Local East Grinstead pub, Bar Kuba, has reopened as The Crown after extensive refurbishment works. The pub welcomed back its customers last month and will be celebrating its new look and name with a launch party this Thursday.
All Our Bars completed the refurbishment works over a number of weeks.
Both the interior and exterior have undergone a complete overhaul. A particular design feature is the use of industrial lighting and the use of old images of East Grinstead used to cover walls. “We are thrilled to have had the opportunity to redevelop The Crown, we hope it appeals to locals and visitors alike” says Paul Wigham, CEO of All Our Bars. “We have a new name and a gorgeous new look, toilets have been added and the entire pub has been re-floored and redecorated, it’s looking superb!” The dining area will also be available for private functions and meetings.
The Crown has extended its existing cask ale range and introduced new craft beers and ciders. The offering also includes a wide selection of rare premium spirits and fine wines.
Food is served daily with emphasis on great quality, locally sourced and seasonal dishes. The pub is also opening early for breakfast and cake & coffee mornings and serves up traditional roasts on Sundays from 12 noon to 8pm.
Colin Elliman, co-owner and manager, said: “We really look forward to providing East Grinstead with the highest quality suburban venue in the area offering great service and great food.”
The Crown will be holding a launch party on Thursday the 23rd of June from 6pm to 9pm with live music, samples of the new menu and complimentary drinks.
The Crown is located at 35 High Street, East Grinstead, West Sussex, RH19 3AF. Telephone: 01342327947.
