Reading pub opens after major refurbishment
Local Reading pub, The Three Tuns, has reopened after undergoing a £300,000 transformation. The pub welcomed customers back 4 weeks ago, just 6 weeks after refurbishment works began.
The pub now boasts a whole new look with additional booths fitted, an improved beer garden, new toilets, new carpets, flooring and furniture throughout as well as a new exterior and resurfaced car park. The Three Tuns has also launched a new food menu and offers a wide range of real ales, craft beers, premium spirits and wines. Paul Wigham, CEO of All Our Bars, said: “It’s great to see this beautiful building fully restored, the designers have really done it justice.”
The pub celebrated it’s refurbishment with a preview party at the beginning of June to which local residents and businesses were invited. “We want to say thank you to everyone who joined us for our preview party, we had a great evening and the feedback we received was fantastic. We are thrilled to have had the opportunity to redevelop The Three Tuns, the pub looks beautiful, and we hope it will appeal to locals and visitors alike” said Paul Wigham.
Speaking about the refurbishment, pub manager Sam Merchant said: “We are so pleased with how everything has worked out, the support we have received from customers has been brilliant.”
The Three Tuns also serves up traditional Sunday roasts for the family to enjoy and offers a lunch deal throughout the week. Live music nights will be starting soon. For more information visit www.threetunsreading.com.
