All Our Bars Re-Open The Old Garrison, Shoeburyness Following Major £275,000 Refurbishment
Pub Group All Our Bars have re-opened The Old Garrison in Campfield Road, Shoeburyness following major refurbishment works.
The pub, formerly called the Garrison Arms, is located next to the historic Shoeburyness Barracks which was home to the Royal Artillery but which has now been developed into luxury residential homes.
The refurbishment, which saw the pub closed for over four weeks, included moving bars, creating new additional toilets, re-flooring the bar areas, resurfacing the car park and creating additional external areas to the front of the premises. The fit-out is a blend of “traditional-meets-modern” with natural wood, slate and chunky furniture softened by modern patterns in carpets and furnishings. The result is a high quality outlet that combines modern suburban community bar with first class dining facilities and huge family-friendly external facilities.
Paul Wigham, CEO of All Our Bars, said “This has been our most exciting scheme to date. We worked closely with our partners, Punch Taverns, to create a superb environment unrivalled in the area. As usual, Punch have been brilliant throughout adopting their ‘customer service first’ approach to the project. Now we look forward to hosting customers in a top class environment.”
Darren King of Punch Taverns said “We have created another quality local in a vibrant area of Essex which demonstrates Punch’s commitment to developing our business with our key partners. The result is a fine site that customers will be delighted to visit.”
The Old Garrison is located at Campfield Road, Shoeburyness, Southend-on-Sea, Essex SS3 9BX Telephone 01702 297595.
